Yaadasa Dafaa

Oromo Nation’s ever burning conundrums: After my lifelong journey and years of living in it, my personal and respectful opinion of the main Oromo Nation’s staggering issues are specified as follows. The sources of the problems and my intimate expressively re-mindful resolutions are also verified concisely. You can have your own say on these issues. Some of the solutions are added to the edited version of the original document.
  1. Sources of the problems: Leaderships of Oromo political organizations.
Problems: They could not stick to the original kaayoo formulated by our heroes for our national struggle because of fundamental difference between them about the independence of Oromia. They had also various problems among them of which are: Lack of discipline, Lack of command and control, Lack of direction, Infighting, Confusion , Division, Weakness, Lack of responsibility and accountability, Lack of rigid stands, Deceptiveness, Self denial, opportunism and self aggrandizing. etc.
Solutions: Hopefully they are trying to restructure themselves if possible, but one might as well forget that they will come up with anything because they have tried it several times and failed. The basic solution is in the hand of the Oromo mass, and also in the hands of the new generation who are not adulterated by the Abyssinian culture. The struggle will continue. Perseverance and non biased dedication will be core of the solution for the genuine struggle of the Oromo Nation. It is not one stop fix syndrome, it will continue, and we shall never give-up!!!!!!!
  1. Sources of the problem: The Oromo public.
Problems: After more than a century of slavery and colonization the psychic or mood of mind of some Oromo have changed 180 degrees from pro actively engaging, assertive and challenging personality to passive none reconstructing and docile personality. Confusion and lack of directions coupled with pressure and harassment by the colonizers consume their daily lives. It is true that the present day of ethnic cleansing and eviction from their lands made life unbearable for any ordinary Oromo. Consequently, the Nation of Oromia appears on the surface that they are/were not able to control their political organizations to do what they want them to do(Libration). But on the other hand, the Abyssinian regimes are their own worst enemy, by pushing the Nation of Oromo to the Point of no return. It is natural phenomenon to react for the Nation of Oromia in defences of their land, dignity, and basic human rights.
Solutions: Many true Oromo nationalists have never stopped challenging the colonizers from day one till now and there are many who paid the ultimate price and the struggle is still going on sporadically but not well coordinated. Therefore, twenty four hours of continuous national media blitz is of vital importance to reach all Oromo in the Diaspora as well as in Oromia countryside in order to educate them, to inform and wake them up to defend themselves and challenge their enemies and get all true Oromo nationalists join the struggle, will continue, besides the enemies’ help of forcing the Oromo Nation to the wall. This is the responsibility of all true Oromo nationalists to hold hands and assist them to defend themselves and give them directives in all respect towards their independence.
  1. Sources of the problems: Our enemies and colonizers.
Problems: , Proactive in doing harm to the Oromo people, Brute and evil. Very conscious to hold and glue this evil empire together with the muzzle of the gun supplied to them by foreigners.
Solutions: Dismantle this evil empire by any means possible like the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Roman Empire and British Empire and achieve our independence. We have to believe that this is possible and start taking actions step by step however small it may be. Rome wasn’t built in a day and there should be successes and failures on the way but failure is not an option but just temporary obstacle to the final destination of Oromo’s independence.
  1. Sources of the problems: Oromo Nationalists.
Problems: Many Oromo call themselves Oromo nationalists with different ideas to solve Oromo problems. Some chose to support the only option left which is Oromo’s total independence and we refer to them as true Oromo nationalists and some still stick to repeatedly failed idea of democratizing the Empire together with the enemy which has been categorically impossible. However, most true Oromo nationalists became procrastinators and developed some kind of phobia because of several disappointments of deceptiveness by all Oromo political organizations. Some turned to be paper tigers without practical actions. Since freedom is extremely expensive with high price tagged to it they shy away from taking necessary actions and wish to get independence for the Oromo people for free without sacrifices. Different excuses arise when they try to come together to hold hands to do something together delaying their movement forward.
Solutions: True Oromo nationalists must learn to hold hands and stick together, be able to solve their problems of working together, prepare step by step strategy as much as they can handle at a time and proceed as fast as they possibly can without never quitting and giving up Oromo’s independence until they die. They have to trust one another for this common cause, quitting and frustration must never be their option. Opportunities knock at the doors of ready and prepared units. Though the price of achieving independence and keeping it is high, the rewards are great lasting generations to generations. Nobody said it will be an easy journey, but what the true Oromo Nationalist say is “it worth all the sufferings, the pains, and the travails”.

Oromia shall be free!
